ITHS Pilot Program: Funding Opportunities Now Open
The Institute of Translational Health Sciences (ITHS) is now accepting applications for the 2025–2026 Pilot Program Awards. These awards provide seed funding to support innovative, high-impact translational research aimed at advancing medical knowledge and improving human health.
Current Funding Opportunities:
Early-Stage Product Development Award
Up to $100,000 to support clinically relevant research discoveries with the potential for commercialization. Funding may be used to refine a prototype, assess usability, or conduct early-stage clinical studies.
Academic Community Partnerships Award
Up to $50,000 to support new collaborations between academic researchers and community organizations. This award focuses on addressing community-based health problems and translating evidence-based innovations into practice.
New Interdisciplinary Academic Partnerships Award
Up to $50,000 to support newly formed partnerships between academic investigators from different disciplines. Projects should address important translational research challenges in innovative ways.
Due to earlier delays in federal funding, the ITHS Pilot Program is resuming with renewed support. Researchers interested in these opportunities are encouraged to apply.
Letter of Intent deadline: September 12, 2025
