IHDD Leadership
The IHDD is an interdisciplinary institute in the Department of Pediatrics under the School of Medicine. See the organizational chart for more information.
IHDD has a central administration that supports three core grants:
- Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center (IDDRC)
- University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD)
- Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program.
Each core grant has a lead director and several program/core directors.
- The IDDRC core directors oversee specialized research cores such as genomics, brain imaging, and clinical translation, advancing scientific discovery in developmental disabilities.
- The UCEDD program directors guide programs focused on lifespan supports, clinical services, genetics, autism, policy, community-based initiatives, inclusive education, and other services.
- The LEND training director and the medical director support interdisciplinary training to prepare the next generation of professionals and advocates.
