Call for Applications: AAP Health Equity Learning for Primary Care Practices Guide Expert Workgroup

As part of the AAP’s Equity Agenda Implementation Plan, the Pediatric Primary Care (PPC) Quality Network and the AAP Equity Initiatives team are seeking AAP members to serve on the Health Equity Learning for Primary-care Practices (HELPP) Guide Expert Workgroup. The Workgroup will build a Guide to educate and increase the capacity of members in the primary care setting to incorporate health equity into practice improvement (or practice QI efforts).

To accomplish this task, experts in health equity, quality improvement and/or pediatric primary care will be assembled to generate new or adapt existing resources published to support practice improvement the pediatric primary care setting.  The development of this Guide will be conducted beginning in October 2023, with an expected completion date of June 30, 2024. There will be (at minimum) virtual monthly meetings with the HELPP Expert Workgroup and virtual biweekly meetings with AAP Staff.
