UW Autism Center Seeks Volunteers for October ADOS-2 Training

The UW Autism Center is seeking children and adults with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis to volunteer for a community provider training on October 12 or 13, 2026, from 1–2 p.m. at the University of Washington Seattle campus.

Volunteers will help providers build skills that support access to diagnostic services.

What to expect

Participation takes approximately one hour. Volunteers are asked to arrive 5–10 minutes early, if possible. A licensed clinical psychologist will administer the measure in front of the training group. Activities may include puzzles, storytelling from pictures, questions about relationships and friendships, playing with toys, and other age-appropriate activities.

Parking will be covered, and volunteers will receive a small gift or gift card.
