LEGO Fellowship Supports Neurodiversity Research
The LEGO Foundation is accepting applications for the LEGO Foundation Fellowship, a global research fellowship for early- and mid-career researchers whose work advances understanding of how children thrive.
One of the fellowship’s research themes focuses on the inclusion and wellbeing of neurodivergent children, with particular interest in autism and ADHD. Areas of interest include support before diagnosis, family wellbeing, inclusive learning environments, transitions across developmental stages, and technologies that support learning, communication, participation, and belonging.
Additional fellowship themes focus on supporting young children in crisis and conflict settings and understanding children’s learning and development in an AI-enabled world.
Selected fellows will receive up to $300,000 in flexible research funding over three years and will join an international cohort of researchers working to generate evidence that can improve outcomes for children and families.
The fellowship is open to researchers employed by universities or research institutes who earned a PhD or equivalent research doctorate within the past 10 years.
Application deadline: July 31, 2026.
