Kendell German Joins Society for Pediatric Research
Congratulations to Kendell German, MD, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington, on being elected to the Society for Pediatric Research (SPR). This recognition honors her outstanding contributions to advancing child health through research, mentorship, and collaboration.
Dr. German is the Director of Research for the Infant Development Follow-Up Clinic at the IHDD and Associate Program Director for the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship. Her research focuses on improving neurodevelopmental outcomes for NICU patients and graduates, including studies on iron deficiency and brain development, early reading interventions, and long-term developmental care for preterm infants.
