SANGAI is a 4-week workshop designed to support South Asian American parents of children with disabilities. This culturally responsive parent advocacy program aims to help improve parent knowledge, advocacy, and relationships with educators.

Who Can Participate?

  • South Asian American (individuals with ancestry from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and/or the Maldives)
  • Parents Of Children With Disabilities

How Can I Enroll?

Interested families can contact Bhabika Joshi or fill out the following survey.

What Will You Do?

  • Complete an eligibility screener
  • Attend a 4-week, 2-hour per week workshop via Zoom with other South Asian American parents
  • Complete pre- and post-test surveys
