NWACS Fall Conference: AAC User Perspectives

The Northwest Augmentative Communication Society (NWACS) will host “AAC User Perspectives,” its virtual fall conference, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Pacific on Zoom.

Student using an AAC device.With the theme “joy as resistance,” the conference centers the lived experiences of people who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Several sessions will be led by AAC users, exploring joy and connection.

AAC users, families, clinicians, educators, direct support professionals, and others interested in AAC are welcome. Attendees should have foundational knowledge of AAC.

Registration is $90 plus fees for professionals and $45 plus fees for non-professionals. Use code nwacs26_EK15 for 15% off registration. Scholarships may be available.

Registered participants can access the recording through October 26, 2026. Live attendance is required to receive a certificate of attendance. Continuing education opportunities are available for speech-language pathologists and Washington school district employees.
