WADDC State Plan Public Comment Open
The Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council (WADDC) has released its draft 2027–2031 State Plan and is now accepting public comment.
This 45-day comment period is the final opportunity for Washington residents to review the proposed priorities and share feedback before the plan is finalized. The survey is open through 11:59 p.m. on June 7, 2026.
Every five years, WADDC develops a State Plan that outlines its goals, priorities, and actions. The current draft reflects input gathered over the past year and a half, including feedback from the 2025 community survey, data from multiple sources, and discussions with council members.
Community input plays an important role in shaping the final plan. Feedback from people with developmental disabilities, family members, and community partners helps ensure the plan reflects real needs and experiences across Washington.
