Disability Rights Washington Names New Executive Director

Disability Rights Washington (DRW) has announced that Wallace (“Wally”) Tablit will serve as its next Executive Director.

Wallace 'Wally' Tablit, Executive Director of DRWWally brings nearly thirty years of leadership in disability rights and disability justice, with experience across the Pacific Northwest and nationally. His background includes competitive and integrated employment, organizational development, leadership, talent management, and person-centered planning. He has held leadership roles with Atwork, RespectAbility (now Disability Belongs), the Association of People Supporting Employment First (APSE), and Relay Resources.

DRW Board Chair Camesha Little shared the board’s confidence in Wally’s leadership. Wally noted that he is “excited, humbled, and honored” to step into the role and looks forward to centering the voices of people with disabilities and strengthening community partnerships.
