Apply Now: Research Opportunities for the Participant Board
The Alliance for Inclusive Health, a program of Special Olympics Washington, is launching a new Participant Board, a feature of its Interactive Referral Network.
This platform is designed to connect individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including Special Olympics athletes, to paid research opportunities in a format that is accessible, inclusive, and participant-driven.
Researchers are invited to submit studies for inclusion. This is an opportunity to:
- Promote inclusive research practices
- Recruit participants with lived experience
- Center leadership from the IDD community
- Advance equity and representation in research design
If you are conducting a current or upcoming study, particularly those offering compensation, and are seeking to engage participants with IDD, we encourage you to submit your opportunity for inclusion in the launch.
