Assistive technology (AT) supports people with disabilities and older adults in achieving greater independence at school, at work, at home, and in the community. National Assistive Technology Awareness Day recognizes the impact of AT across the country and the ongoing work of professionals, educators, and researchers who help make access to these tools possible.

The Washington Assistive Technology Act Program (WATAP), a program of the UCEDD, is sharing stories and resources throughout the day. Visit their Facebook page for updates.

Learn more about the national observance at the Association of Assistive Technology Act Programs (ATAP) website.
