Celebrate Inclusion and Community at Husky Heroes – May 18

The Down Syndrome Community of Puget Sound and the University of Washington Huskies invite individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) and their families to “Husky Heroes”, a free, inclusive event focused on play, connection, and community.

Date: Sunday, May 18, 2025
Time: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Husky Ballpark, University of Washington, Seattle
Cost: Free

This partnership event brings together UW student-athletes and individuals with IDDs for a fun-filled afternoon of sports and inclusive activities. Participants will rotate through athletic stations designed to build confidence, encourage engagement, and celebrate all abilities. Families are welcome to attend, and attendees will receive UW swag bags.

Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
