The Washington Family to Family Health Information Center (F2F HIC) serves families with children and youth aged birth to 26 who have special health care needs. They offer personalized guidance to help families navigate the health care system and connect them with resources available in Washington State.

Children with special health care needs are those who have, or are at risk for, chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional conditions requiring health and related services beyond those typically needed by children.

Family Voices of Washington, a program under PAVE (Partnerships for Action, Voices for Empowerment), emphasizes family-centered care for all children and youth with special health care needs and disabilities. Through a national network, they equip families with tools to make informed decisions, advocate for improved public and private policies, build partnerships among professionals and families, and serve as a trusted health care resource.

Established in 1979, PAVE supports families, individuals with disabilities, and professionals by offering assistance, training, information, and referrals, addressing needs from birth through adulthood.
