ECHO Autism WA 5th Wednesday Session: Ross Greene
Join ECHO Autism WA for a special 5th Wednesday session featuring Ross Greene, PhD, a nationally recognized child psychologist and developer of the Collaborative and Proactive Solutions model.
Dr. Greene’s work focuses on solving the problems that lead to challenging behavior in children through skill-building, empathy, and collaboration. This evidence-based, non-punitive approach has been shown to reduce suspensions, detentions, and restraints.
Dr. Greene is the author of The Kids Who Aren’t Okay: The Urgent Case for Reimagining Support, Belonging and Hope in Schools, along with earlier books including The Explosive Child, Lost at School, Lost & Found, and Raising Human Beings. He spent over 20 years on the Harvard Medical School faculty and is now the Founding Director of Lives in the Balance. He consults widely with families, schools, clinical programs, and systems including the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.
