UW LEND Class of 2026Based at the Institute on Human Development and Disability (IHDD), UW LEND prepares future leaders in disability care through interdisciplinary training, family engagement, and systems change. Trainees learn alongside peers from a range of disciplines and lived experiences, with a shared focus on improving systems and supporting inclusive communities.

UW LEND offers long-term, medium-term, and short-term training options. Long-term trainees complete a nine-month program that includes coursework, clinical and community-based experiences, and a mentored leadership project.
