Roots2Wings Family Group Launches New Website

Roots2Wings Family Group, a community-based program that empowers families, caregivers, and professionals to support neurodiverse individuals of all abilities, has launched a new website.

Roots2Wings brings together self-advocates, families, educators, healthcare providers, and community partners to create inclusive networks of support. Through interactive online sessions and hands-on workshops, the program helps build strong foundations (“roots”) of safety and belonging, while fostering the confidence (“wings”) to grow, explore, and thrive. The community connects and nurtures families and partners to support neurodiverse members as they navigate the journey from high school to post-secondary education and beyond.

The new website provides a more accessible platform for families and professionals to connect, share experiences, and find practical tools and resources. This year’s program will explore four quarterly themes: Government Systems, Legal and Financial Planning, Education and Life Skills, and Post-Secondary Pathways and Housing.
