New Opportunity: Help Test a Bilingual App for Preschool-Age Siblings

Do you have a child with a disability or health condition and another child between the ages of 3 and 6?

You may be eligible to participate in an eight-week pilot study testing SibTime, a new bilingual mobile app designed to support young siblings. The study aims to strengthen family relationships and provide tools for families navigating disability or health challenges. Participating families will receive $200.

If your family is eligible and chooses to participate, you will be invited to:

  • Complete two short online surveys about family relationships
  • Download the SibTime app to your smartphone or tablet
  • Use the app in English or Spanish, whenever and wherever it works best for you

This study is led by Dr. Patricia Vadasy and Jessie Marquez of Influents Innovations, in collaboration with the Oregon Research Institute and the Sibling Support Project at the Kindering Center. It is funded by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.
