Research Opportunity: Wellness and Healthy Living in Autistic Adults

Photo: Young adult drawing while sitting on a park bench. The CARAFE Lab (Counseling, Advocacy, and Research on the Autistic Female Experience) at Indiana University Bloomington is currently recruiting autistic adults (18+) for two ongoing studies that explore health, wellness, and lived experiences.

  • Study 1: The Wellness Puzzle – A 20–30 minute anonymous online survey focused on diet, activity, and sensory needs.
  • Study 2: Self-Narratives about Healthy Living – A 30–45 minute one-on-one Zoom interview about strategies, barriers, and perceptions of healthy living.

The CARAFE Lab uses a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming lens to uplift autistic voices, especially those of women and other historically underrepresented groups.
