The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Council on Children with Disabilities is currently seeking applicants for two vacancies on its Autism Subcommittee:
Family/Caregiver Member of the Autism Subcommittee: 1 Vacancy
- Family/Caregiver Application Form
- Family/Caregiver Position Description
- Term: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026, eligible for re-appointment for 2 additional 1-year terms
- Applicant must be a family/caregiver of an autistic child and/or youth
- This is a volunteer position with a stipend of $800 per 1-year term, pending budget approval by the AAP Board of Directors
Autistic Adult Member of the Autism Subcommittee: 1 Vacancy

- Autistic Adult Member Position Description
- Term: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026, eligible for re-appointment for 2 additional 1-year terms
- Applicant must be an adult 18 years or older on the autism spectrum
- This is a volunteer position with a stipend of $800 per 1-year term, pending budget approval by the AAP Board of Directors
