Research Participation Opportunity: Evaluating Person-Centered Home and Community-Based Services

Researchers at the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab are seeking participants who receive HCBS to pilot test surveys designed to evaluate the person-centeredness of their services.

What’s Involved?

  • Screening & Consent: A brief screening and consent process via Zoom or phone (unpaid).
  • Surveys: Participants will complete at least two short (10-minute) surveys about different aspects of their HCBS. Surveys can be taken online, via Zoom with a research assistant, or by phone.
  • Compensation: Receive $30 per completed survey. After 2 to 9 months, participants will complete the same surveys again for $40 per survey, for a total of up to $200.

This study is funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (IRB#: STU00214517).
The RRTC on HCBS is part of the Center for Rehabilitation Outcomes Research (CROR) at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
