Peer Support and Research Engagement for Transition Age Young Adults with IDD Resources

September 22, 2023 – Guided by input from community members, including young individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), the REACH Lab and Institute on Disabilities at Temple University created readily available and complimentary materials on the benefits of peer support in facilitating successful transitions and research.

• The Peer Support to Help People Engage in Research training module prepares young adults with IDD to participate in research.
• The Peer Support Toolkit outlines peer support and how it can be used to support successful transition and transition research.
