The Family Resources team at the Seattle Children’s Autism Center maintains a list of summer camps and year-round recreation options for children of all ages and support needs.

While they strive to keep this information current, it is not possible to know about every offering across the state. Therefore, they recommend:

  • Asking other parents, who often have valuable insights about local activities that have been successful for other neurodivergent children.
  • Connecting with local Arc chapters or Parent-to-Parent groups, which may maintain lists of local resources for summer recreation.
  • Checking local parks and recreation departments, including those in nearby cities or counties, to see what programs they offer.
