Care Coordination Training Pilot Program

WA INCLUDE has launched a Care Coordination Training Curriculum and Pilot Program focused on improving care coordination for families and youth with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and co-occurring mental health needs. The initiative aims to strengthen the skills and knowledge of care coordinators while examining existing systems to identify strategies that improve access to care in a financially sustainable way.
The pilot program emphasizes workforce development and systems improvement, recognizing the critical role care coordinators play in helping families navigate complex service systems. Through targeted training and evaluation, the initiative seeks to reduce barriers to care, improve coordination across providers and agencies, and support more timely and effective services for children and families.
