Community Session: Improving Care for Families with FASDs

This month’s WA INCLUDE presentation will focus on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs). The presentation start with an overview of what FASD is, explore how it can look similar to—and differ from—other co-occurring diagnoses such as autism, and conclude by highlighting resources available to both families and professionals. Followed by a Q&A.

Dr. Carmichael Olson is a Clinical Professor and Research Psychologist at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Families Moving Forward Program Director and Developer at Seattle Children’s Research Institute

Jennifer Wisdahl, FASD UnitedJennifer Wisdahl
Jennifer is the Chief Operating Officer of FASD United, an organization focused on connecting families and advocating for FASD-informed resources and services. Their efforts have led to significant progress, including, but not limited to, their one-of-a-kind Family Navigator Program.
