Research Study for Parents of Teens Who Use AAC
The Language, Assistive Technology, and Autism (LATA) Lab at The Ohio State University is recruiting parents and legal guardians of transition-age AAC users (ages 14–22). The study focuses on family experiences during the transition from school to adult life. This study is approved by the OSU Institutional Review Board (STUDY#20250507).
Who is eligible:
- Parents or legal guardians of AAC users ages 14–22
- Located in the United States
What participation includes:
- Completing a 15–30 minute online survey
- Uploading a photo of your child’s AAC device
- Uploading the AAC user’s most recent IEP and Evaluation Team Report (if available)
How to participate:
Fill out the interest form so the research team can send the appropriate consent/assent materials.
