Haring Center Inclusion Modules
The Haring Center has launched the Inclusion Modules, a set of free online trainings designed to help educators, childcare providers, program leaders, and community organizations create more inclusive environments for children and youth ages 2–20.
Each module includes a short video, a practical tip sheet and checklist, additional resources, and a brief quiz.
The modules are organized into four categories:
- Systems & Structures – guidance for leaders and directors on building equitable systems and policies.
- Early Learning (ages 2–6) – strategies for supporting inclusion in early childhood programs.
- Elementary (ages 6–12) – tools to foster belonging and support learners in school-age settings.
- Secondary (ages 13–20) – practices for supporting youth in inclusive environments.
Funded by the Dan Thompson Memorial Fund through the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), these modules are designed to make inclusion accessible and practical across a wide variety of programs, including day camps, libraries, after-school activities, sports teams, community centers, and schools.
