Apply Now: Community Engagement Toolkit Workgroup
The Washington State Office of Equity is inviting community members to apply for a Community Engagement Toolkit Workgroup. This is a paid opportunity for individuals with lived experience advocating for the Nothing About Us Without Us Act or serving on state workgroups.
Participants will review and provide feedback on the Community Engagement Toolkit, a resource designed to help state agencies build meaningful, inclusive partnerships with the communities they serve. The toolkit includes step-by-step guidance on planning, accessibility, compensation, and evaluation.

- 4–6 virtual meetings (July–September 2025)
- Nine community member positions available
- Diverse applicants encouraged; translation available upon request
