Support Future Disability Leaders During IHDD Spring Fund Drive

IHDD Spring Fund Drive is here, and with it comes an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

We are launching the IHDD Spring Fund Drive giving campaign, running from Monday, May 12 through Monday, May 19. Our goal is to raise $25,000 in support of two critical training programs:

  • LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities): A year-long, 300+ hour interdisciplinary program that prepares professionals, family members, and self-advocates to lead in clinical care, advocacy, and disability systems.
  • LEND UP: This past year, the UW LEND program started a new program called LEND UP (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities – Undergraduate Pathways).  The goal is to support undergraduate students from underrepresented, educationally and economically disadvantaged backgrounds by providing them with the opportunity to explore health careers serving children and youth with developmental disabilities and their families. Part of their learning experience is to observe in our clinics.

A gift of $1,000 supports one LEND trainee. A gift of $500 supports one LEND UP trainee.

Every contribution helps build a stronger, more inclusive future. Whether you are a longtime member of the IHDD community or new to our work, we welcome your support.

Thank you for supporting the next generation of leaders in disability services, policy, and research.
