Celebrating Women Faculty in Medicine and Science: Register for the 13th Annual Women Faculty Day

The UW Women in Medicine & Sciences (WIMS) Committee invites faculty, staff, and community members to attend the 13th Annual Women Faculty Day on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture.

This year’s theme, “Advocacy, Allyship, & Action: Building a Future for Women in Medicine & Science,” focuses on leadership, mentorship, and advancing equity for women in academic medicine and science.

Photo: Dr. Tricia Serio, UW Provost and Professor of BiochemistryDr. Tricia Serio, UW Provost and Professor of Biochemistry, will deliver the keynote address. Additional speakers include Dr. Michi Shinohara, Dr. Terri Laguna, and Dr. Catherine Amlie-Lefond, who will share insights on mentorship, boundaries, and advocacy.

The event includes faculty talks, networking, and interactive discussions. All members of the UW Medicine community are welcome, regardless of gender.
