Celebrating Kate DiNucci’s SPR Student Research Award

Photo: Kate DiNucci, Society for Pediatric Research Award RecipientIHDD is proud to share that Kate DiNucci, a student in UW’s Neonatal Neuroscience Laboratory, has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Society for Pediatric Research (SPR) Student Research Award. Kate will be honored later this month at the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) Meeting in Honolulu, Hawai’i.

Each year, SPR recognizes students conducting outstanding pediatric research with this competitive award. Recipients are chosen based on the quality of work presented in their PAS abstract submissions. Kate’s recognition highlights her contributions to advancing pediatric science and her commitment to improving outcomes for children and families.

Kate previously presented her research at 2024 IHDD Research Day and continues to be a valued member of our research community. We’re thrilled to see her work honored on a national stage.

Kate was also recently highlighted in the Society for Pediatric Research newsletter as part of their 2025 award announcements.

Congratulations, Kate!
