Education Allies: Supporting Caregivers with Home-School Partnerships

10:00-11:30 at the DSC Campus on: Saturday Feb 1st, Saturday March 1st, and Saturday April 5th
This program will cover the key terms and basics of education for parents of school-aged children with Down syndrome. One Saturday a month, we will help parents navigate the nuances of public education and prepare to advocate for their child. Parents and caregivers will also have the opportunity to connect and support one another in their educational journeys. For questions or financial aid request please contact megan@dscpugetsound.org.

Adults Program: Friends Learning Together

Winter Class Openings: Friday @ 12:00-1:30
DSC’s Adult Program: Friends Learning Together aims to assist individuals with Ds aged 18 and older in developing healthy relationships, overcoming challenges, and enhancing their overall quality of life. For questions or financial aid request please contact megan@dscpugetsound.org.

Birth-to-Three Parent and Me Therapy Group

Now on Saturdays! 10:00-10:45 AM on the DSC Campus
Led by SLP therapist Danielle, the ‘Birth-to-Three Parent and Me Therapy Group’ is a supportive group for parents of young children to connect, share experiences, and learn about developmental milestones in social-emotional and language skills. Each week has a learning focus, plenty of opportunities for play, and will include useful strategies to take home to support your little one’s development at home.
