Disability as Diversity: Reducing Researcher Roadblocks Study (D2/R3)
The NIH recently designated people with disabilities (PWDs) a health disparity population. D2/R3 aims to mitigate factors associated with under-representation of PWDs, especially adults with developmental disabilities, in NIH research (see figure below).

Survey responses will identify salient researcher-facing barriers to including PWDs in biomedical and behavioral research. A later stage of D2/R3 will trial an intervention to mitigate these barriers.
We are seeking participation from:
- All Team Members: Principal / Co-Investigators, Study Coordinators, Research Assistants, etc.
- Non-Disability Focused teams… because we’ll learn the most from you!
- Adult Focused study researchers, given gaps in research on PWDs (see Figure)
Study Incentive: Receive as a gift card OR donate to charitable organization.
