UW LEND trainees and faculty had the opportunity to attend the 2024 Disability Policy Seminar in Washington, D.C. this past month. They had the opportunity to learn about key policies and meet with our state’s representatives.

This annual federal legislative conference is co-sponsored by leading disability advocate organizations and brings together advocates, including people with disabilities, experts, and professionals in the field to learn about key issues and advance grassroots movement for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
