Image: University of Washington W logo - White W on Purple background.The Ventura Endowed Fellowship for Autism Research is a program designed to build capacity at UW and Seattle Children’s for clinical and clinical-related research activities. Graduate Student Trainees, Postdoctoral Fellows, as well as medical, educational, and psychological (or similar) early career workforce members seeking to develop or increase their skills in autism diagnosis can apply for funds (up to $2000) to support their training and education in the field of autism. The focus of the fund is to promote skill building and ultimately increase research and clinical capacity for the diagnosis and treatment of autism. Examples may include, but are not limited to, presenting at the International Meeting for Autism Research’s annual meeting, training in autism diagnosis or treatment models, etc.

Applicants interested in accessing fellowship funds can submit a proposal to the Ventura Fellowship Committee December 1, 2023 or April 1, 2024. We will fund 3 awards. Funds must be utilized within a year. Proposals will be reviewed by a panel of 3 faculty in our Autism Programs.
